He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dawson and Ann Genry; and his brother Chucky Dawson. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Dawson; his daughter Angie Britt (Teddy); his grandchildren, Dylan "Gage" Steen, Logan Britt, Zack Britt and Kylee Britt; and his sisters, Virginia Bubba Dawson (April) and Michelle Diamond (Clint).
