She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Weekly and Katherine Teschler Weekly; her son Steven McKay, Jr.; and her sister Carol Urban. She is survived by: her husband Steven R. McKay; her daughter Lisa McKay Thomas of Whitney, TX; and her grandchildren, Steven R. McKay, III of Pelzer, SC, Amber Bennett of Italy, TX, Veronica McKay of Covington, RI, Harry Thomas of Charlotte, NC, Serena Thomas of Charlotte, NC and Jordan Thomas of Milford, NH. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
