It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myron Metro Harvist of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Metro (Mary Harvist) and Myron. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his daughters, Megan Harvist of Norwalk, CT and Tara; his son-in-law Joe Longo of Cherry Hill, NJ; his granddaughters, Mia and Jillian Longo; his grandmothers, Tara and Carol Harvist of Branchburg, NJ; his sisters, Eleanor Nieliwocki of Bonita Springs, FL. and Kathryn Perlman of Bonita Springs, FL.; and also Megan.
A prayer was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Middlesex Funeral Home (528 Bound Brook Rd, Middlesex, NJ 08846). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (542 Cypress Ave, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576). A reception will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Middlesex Funeral Home (528 Bound Brook Rd, Middlesex, NJ 08846).
