With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Conaty in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, born in Southington, Connecticut, who passed away on December 7, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Grey Smith and Frederick Albert Smith; her brothers, Ken Smith (Mary), George Smith (Mary) and Francis Smith (Mary); and her sister-in-law Eleanor Conaty Barnard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Conaty Owens (Bill) of Leesburg, VA, Cheryl Conaty Barkley (John) of Chantilly, VA and Cynthia Conaty Lyle (Don) of Murrells Inlet, SC.; her brother-in-law James Conaty; her grandson Nick Barkley; her great grandchildren, Whitney and Elliot; her grandchildren, Danny Barkley and Kristen Owens Morgan (Mel); her great grandchildren, Kennedy and Hayden; and her grandson Andrew Owens. She is also survived by her daughters and sons in law.
