The passing of Maryellen Ann Goodwin of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 29, 2024 at the age of 71. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph McGarry and Helen McGarry; her brother Thomas McGarry; her in-laws, John and Frances Goodwin; and her sister-in-law Gail McGinty.
She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Theresa Fahy (Chris), John Goodwin and Karen Lamach (Gary); her grandchildren, Claire Hughes (Andy), Sean, Joe, Colleen, Harrison and Dexter; her siblings, Pat Kraeer, Margaret Eden (Rob), Ann Gabrielson (Tom), Joe McGarry (Ann), Mark McGarry (Sylvia) and Brian McGarry (Colleen); her brother-in-law Michael McGinty; and also, Tom (Robin), Jim (Chris) and Ed Goodwin (Cyanne). She is also survived by Her many nieces and nephews and their spouses and children.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (724 Maple Ave, Linwood, NJ 08221). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Maryellen's memory to the Glioblastoma Foundation or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
