With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Ammons of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, born in Conway, South Carolina, who passed away on November 28, 2021 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lois Ammons to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Edward Ricks and Veta Vereen Ricks; her husband Mendel Ammons; her siblings, Edison Ricks, Eugene Ricks, Helen Stephens, Leona Thompson, Mayoma Pewdo and Lovely Marlowe; her grandson Robert Pierce; her daughter Leveta Pierce (Gary) of Murrells Inlet; her grandchildren, Tara Pierce and Jonathan Pierce (Rae); her adoptive daughter Barbara Cox; and her great grandchild Madeline Pierce. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends.
