We are sad to announce that on July 20, 2023, at the age of 73, Karen Thomy Pressley of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, born in Lake City, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Abraham "Abe" Thomy; and her brother David Andrew Thomy. She is survived by: her mother Ruth Binter Thomy of Manning; her daughter Julia of Myrtle Beach; her brother Richard Thomy (Brenda) of Ocean Isle, NC; her stepbrother Timothy McDonald (Jennifer) of Columbia; her sister-in-law JoAnn Thomy of Jacksonville; her nephews, Charles and Andrew Thomy; her stepmother Marge Thomy of Sumter; and her pet Paddington.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Karen's memory to All4Paws Animal Rescue in Pawleys Island, SC, and to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
