She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lamar Shrum and Fardie Artilla Shrum; her husband George F. Hefley; and her siblings, Marvin, Kenny Shrum and Ruby Kenny.
She is survived by: her sons, George M. "Mike" Hefley of Murrells Inlet, SC and Roger D. Hefley of Wilsonville, OR; and her grandsons, Jed M. Hefley, Garrett F. Hefley and Daniel Hefley. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
