He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Wesley Gordon and Aleene Burgess Gordon; his brother Gerald Gordon; his daughter-in-law Shannon Crocker Gordon; and his nephew Gerald "Bubba" Gordon.
He is survived by: his children, Pattie Gordon of Murrells Inlet and Wayne "Bruz" Gordon, Jr. of Murrells Inlet; his brother Wesley Gordon (Betty) of Murrells Inlet; his grandchildren, Brittany (Hannah), Taylor (Tommy), Renae (DJ) and Lauren; his great grandchildren, Colton, Kimbi, Jett, Charlie, Gordon, Dalton, Elzie and Caroline; his sister-in-law Dot; his cousin Joan Overman; and his extended family, Taryn Wilson (Tom), Joe Gordon (Kim), Wes Gordon (Gina), Debbie Bass, Sande "Sam" Causey and Tracey Tomko (Mike).
The family has requested that memorial donations be made in Wayne's name to the Murrells Inlet Masonic Lodge #368, 620 Collins Ave. Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
