Joan A. Swankowski Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan A. Swankowski of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, born in Chelsea, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 11, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Memmolo and Raffaella L. Memmolo (Parrotta); her former husband Chester J. Swankowski, Jr.; her brother Louis "Sonny" Memmolo; and her husband John Memmolo (Linda) of Revere.
She is survived by: her children, Chester J. Swankowski, III (Suzanne) of Tewksbury and Cheri Swankowski (Dominic Pegnato, III) of Methuen; her sister-in-law Diane of Delaware; her sisters, Maria Simmons (Robert) of Atkinson, NH and Rosemary O'Callaghan of No; and her sister-in-law Cheryl Sullivan (late John) of Brockton. She is also survived by several cousins, extended family members and friends.
