He is survived by: his children, Raymond Johnston (Faye) of Conway, SC, James Gottwald (Susan) of Schnecksville, PA, Fritz Gottwald (Janet) of Glenwood, MD and Christy Keller (Phillip) of Mt. Airy, MD; and his grandchildren, Cynara Johnston, Jenna Scharinger (William), Amanda Johnston, Caroline Johnston, Carly Johnston, Jacob Gottwald Louise Gottwald (Samantha), Katharine Gottwald, Fritz Gottwald, Lilienne Gottwald, Phillip Keller III and Nicholas Keller.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Burroughs Funeral Home & Cremation Services (3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Burroughs Funeral Home Chapel (3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576).
