He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Pierce Horton and Anna V. Lee; his brother Donald Horton; and his son David Keith Horton. He is survived by: his wife Dolores "Dee" Horton of Murrells Inlet; his daughter Dawn Craig (Bryan) of Punta Gorda; and his grandson Jason Saunders (Elizabeth) of Alexandria, VA.
