She was predeceased by: her parents, William Pape and Frida Pape; her husband Gilbert Vanderwerken II; and her brother William Pape. She is survived by: her children, Todd Vandererwerken (Helen H.) of Lyons, Colorado, Gilbert Vanderwerken, III of Fairfield, Connecticut and Sherry Richardson; and her grandchildren, Ashley Vanderwerken, Lee Vanderwerken and Trevor Vanderwereken.
