It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Burroughs of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, born in Marion, South Carolina, who passed away on January 10, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Homer Price and Virginia Hitchcock Price. She is survived by: her husband Leroy Burroughs of Murrells Inlet; her children, Pam Wiggins (O'Neal Davis) of Myrtle Beach, Chris Burroughs (Tangie) of Murrells Inlet and Mark Burroughs (Amy) of Galivants Ferry, SC; her siblings, Larry Price (Sherry) of Bamberg, SC, Dianne Belec of Columbia, SC and Connie Siegal (Bruce) of Port St; her grandchildren, Ashley Jordan (Drew), Bryan Wiggins (Darah), Kevin Wiggins (Kayla), Macy Weaver (Carey), Nina Wiggins, Savanna Rogers, Price Burroughs and Lane Burroughs; and her great grandchildren, Tilly, Tillman, Tristan, Austin, Elena, Luke, Kenna, Clarke, Christopher, Madeline and Harper. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; as well as a large loving extended family and many supportive friends.

The family has requested that memorial contributions in Gloria's name to Murrells Inlet Baptist Church, 3891 Highway 17 Bypass, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.

“I am still in shock about our loss of Gloria, our sincere sympathy for Leroy, children and grandchildren. We had such good time at our activities at Glenns Bay. She was so kind and caring and even stayed with me in the hospital for a surgery I had. I still have tears for her leaving. Do know she is in a better place but doesn't help those left.. our prayers are lifted up for them. Ken and Louise”
