He was predeceased by: his father Eugene E. Marchand; and his brother Richard Marchand. He is survived by: his sister Mary Anne Grebinec of Murrells Inlet, SC; his nieces and nephews, Michele Grebinec, Melissa Grebinec, Yvonne Kerner, Karen Marchand, Ruth Ellen Hayes, Angie Rogers, David and Phillip Marchand; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Marchand.
The family has requested that memorial donations be made in George's name to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, http://www.stjude.org.
