It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Lee Coffey of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, born in Waynesboro, Virginia, who passed away on June 21, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Lee Coffey and Myra Nuckols Coffey; his wife Shelda Elaine "Mammy" Coffey; his siblings, Hayward Coffey and Phyllis Kimberling; and his son-in-law Brian Spencer.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Spencer (Curt Sell); his stepchildren, Kara Nicole Price of Westminster, MD and Zachary Price (Michelle) of Westminster, MD; his grandchildren, Emily Spencer, Heidi Spencer, Jordan Sell, Brandon Sell, Ryan Sell, Logan Sell, Marin Taylor and Kylin Taylor; his stepchildren, Traiben Price and Arlin B. Price; and his great grandchildren, Scarlotte Sell and Claire Sell.
