She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse M. Gilmore and Lottie Gilmore (Cox); her former husband Benjamin Calder; her husband Howard Johnson; and her siblings, Ben, Harry, Raleigh and Pearl.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Harrah of Florida, Deborah Radford of Murrells Inlet, Michael of Florida and Bryan of Greenville, SC; and her sisters, Molly Jacobs and Dalma Holt. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving, extended family, and many supportive friends.
