It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Lemaster Champion of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Lemaster and Nola Mae Maynard Lemaster; her husband Franklin Delano Champion; her daughter Belinda Cheryl; and her siblings, Clovia Marie, Wayne Herschel, Cecil WInfield, Mack, Pauline and Kenneth.
She is survived by: her son Frank Delano (Donna); and her siblings, Virginia Elizabeth, Beulah Mae, Bonnie Gay and Herbert.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel (11528 Hwy 17, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Garden City Baptist Church (501 Pine Ave, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576-8431). An entombment will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the Hillcrest Cemetery.
