She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond J. Votra and Ruth I. Bourcy Votra; and her siblings, Donald Votra, Elsie Garnsey and Rose Votra.

She is survived by: her husband James L. Brown; her children, James R. (Donna Brown), Joseph A. (Meg Brown), Mary Beth (Trever Famulare) and Janine M. (Donald Johnson); and her siblings, Marvin Votra and Marilyn (Dennis Espinosa). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers donations in Doris' name may be made to St. Patrick's Church, 123 S. Massey St., Watertown, NY 13601.
