She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Paul Smith and Nellie Matilda Smith (Jenks); her children, Donald P. Holt and Kimberly Ann Palmer; and her brothers, Melvin Paul Smith, Jr. and Donald K. Smith.
She is survived by: her husband William Holt of Murrells Inlet, SC; her siblings, John L. Smith (Carol) of Sebastian, FL and Hattie Robinson of Murrells Inlet, SC; her grandchildren, Jason, Tracy, Kelli and Kevin; her great grandchild Zoe; and her niece Jody Thorne of Murrells Inlet. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
