He was predeceased by: his parent Omega Tyner; and his siblings, Gladys, Nancy, Evelyn and Billy.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Tyner; and his children, Kady Turner (Brad), Tammy Tyner, Tiffany Tyner, Kim Dorsey and Bobby. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Burroughs Funeral Home & Cremation Services (3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576). A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery (4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229).
He is a board member of the Orange Heart Medal Foundation and worked tirelessly with state legislators to pass laws honoring Vietnam Veteran's exposed to agent orange as combat wounded. Bobby was a member of the Orange Heart Medal Foundation, Agent Orange Awareness Group SC, VFW Post 10420, American Legion Post 178, DAV Chapter 57, Veteran's Café, Veteran's Welcome Home Resource Center and the Myrtle Beach Vet Center.
