He was predeceased by: his parents, Leona Born and Bice Ward Sr. Born; and his wife Alice Macklen Ward. He is survived by: his children, Richard Ward (Melissa Ward) of Socastee, Tammi Ward of Socastee and Sandra Ward of Socastee; his grandchildren, Morgan (Brandon Missigman), Trevor Hancock, Madison (Colt Karnes) and J. Bice Ward of Socastee; his great grandchildren, Sage Tyler, Bradley Tyler, Grace Karnes, Eloise Karnes, Alexander Missigman and Teagan Missigman; and his brother William Henry Ward (Cheryl) of Socastee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
