It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lee Affeldt in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, born in Medina, North Dakota, who passed away on July 5, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Lavern; her son Brock; her grandson Julian Lavern Crawford; her parents, Andrew Meisch and Leah Schauer Meisch; and her siblings, Dale Meisch, Marvel Mautz and Ardella Schlicting.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Crawford (James) of Murrells Inlet, SC and Nancee Seibel (John Melichar) of Burnsville, MN; her daughter-in-law Lona Affeldt (Brock) of Fairfax, VA; and her sister Dorothy Anderson (Mylo) of Mandan, ND. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, 1 gg grandchild and many nephews and nieces.
It was her wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to The Alzheimer's Foundation (http://alz.org), American Heart Association or Diabetes Association.
