We are sad to announce that on April 29, 2024, at the age of 93, Anthony G. Salerno Sr. of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Anthony departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Anthony may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Anthony leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony J. Salerno and Louise Bernocco Salerno; and his former spouses, Jacquiline K. Salerno and Emma Poole. He is survived by: his sister Katheryne Bogand; his partner Shirley Shadow; and his sons, Anthony Salerno, Jr. (Deborah), Patrick (Kelly) and Edward of Salerno, NJ. He is also survived by daughter, Shirley Tholen, FL; nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren; sister, Francis Mitchell, TX; one niece, three nephews and devoted extended family.
