It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annette A. Dow of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on August 23, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Antoinette LaMarre Abronze and Joseph Wiliam Abronze; her husband Clayton L. Dow; and her brother John Gilbert Jr.. She is survived by: her brother Charles J. Abronze (Krystyna Szewczyk); her nieces, Gerlinde Stone and Christina Bieler (Scott); her nephew Matthew Abronze (Sara); her great-nephews, Justin and Jacob Bieler; her cousin MaryAnne Remilard; her friend Janice Poggie (Frank Borgeson); and her cousin Alberta Turbert (Anthony). She is also survived by cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts are welcomed in her honor to the working fund of St. Paul's Waccamaw United Methodist Church. Annette will be remembered for her extensive contributions to her communities and for the warm light of her presence, which profoundly touched all who knew her.
