It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Julius Hewitt (Mullins, South Carolina), who passed away on September 20, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Thelma Stroud Hewitt; his parents, Oscar Hewitt and Mamie Hewitt; his daughter Melodie Ann Walsh; and his siblings, Ruby Lee Hewitt Elliott and Harvey Hewitt.
He is survived by: his sons, William J. Hewitt, Jr. Summerville (Paula) and Phillip Marvin Hewitt of Aiken; and his grandchildren, Jenika Sears, Tiffany Butler, Holly Robertson, Brian Walsh, John Marshall, Ashlie Ewers, Matthew Hewitt and Clifford J. Hewitt. He is also survived by 16 Great Grandchildren.
