She was predeceased by: her parents, James Vander "J. V." Hooks and Alice Pearl Jernigan Hooks; and her siblings, Andy Hooks and Sandy Hooks. She is survived by: her husband Mike Thompkins; her children, B. J. Skipper of Mullins, Stephanie Denise "Neesie" Hamilton (Austin) of Dillon, Dana Marie Thompkins of Chadbourn and Amanda Leigh Thompkins of Mullins; her siblings, Randy Hooks (Pattie) of Advance and Ila Thompson of Mullins; and her grandchildren, Hunter, Emily, Jenna, Alexis, Spencer, Whitney, Kamryn and Gracie. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
