It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley McMillan of Mullins, South Carolina, born in Dillon, South Carolina, who passed away on August 21, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Paul McMillan, Sr. of Mullins; her parents, Mitchell Brooks Barfield and Ithama Gerrald Barfield; and her sister Lydia Ruth Dawkins. She is survived by: her children, John Paul McMillan, Jr. of Manassas, VA and Marilyn McMillan Creech (Floyd) of Mullins; her grandchildren, Gabriel George Creech (Erin), Seth Paul Creech and Grace Creech Burton (Hunter); her great grandchildren, Ella Claire Burton, Emma Caroline Burton and Samuel Grady Creech; and her sisters, Bonnie Barfield Morgan and Gwendolyn Barfield Griffin.
