He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy McCoy Stroud and Ola Marie Stroud Smith; his sons, Roy Lee Stroud, Jr. and E. J. Pate; and his siblings, Charles, Kenny, Edith and Patsy.
He is survived by: his wife Inez Padgett Stroud of Mullins; his children, Troy "Wayne" Stroud (Karie) of Carbonado, Kimberly Stroud Balkus (Tommy) of Raleigh, NC, Sherry Stroud of Marion, Dee Dee Travis (Joe) of Calais, Misty Flowers and Kaleb Stroud of Marion, SC; his daughter-in-law Sheila Owens Stroud of Bennettsville, SC; and also Kelly Evans (Dickie) of Lamar, SC.. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home (715 S Main St, Mullins, SC 29574). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
