It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ricky Dale Buffkin of Mullins, South Carolina, who passed away on March 28, 2021, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Winston Buck Buffkin; his brother Gregory Leigh Buffkin; and his brother-in-law Joe Owens. He is survived by: his mother Rosemary Stanton Buffkin; his daughters, Lindsay "Niki" Buffkin of Mullins and Candace Brooke Buffkin (Julian Chestnut) of Mullins; his siblings, Johnny Duepree George, Jr. of Charlotte, Gayle Godbold Pitts of Lugoff and Carla Jean Owens of Mullins; his grandchildren, Chasity Faith Buffkin, Cameron Jacob Buffkin, Caroline Alexis Scott, Emery Kane Gause and Rylee Eliana Scott; the mother of his children Kimberly Moody Buffkin of Dillon; and his friend John Lehto. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
