With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rachel E. Powell of Mullins, South Carolina, born in Marion, South Carolina, who passed away on December 23, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy D. Powell; her parents, Walter Clyde Hardy and Mattie Lee Collins; and her siblings, William Hardy, Robert Hardy, Patsy Elliott, Sandra Bryant and Marilyn Harrelson.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Johnson (Kim) of Mullins and Sharon Bueno (Juan) of Mullins; her brothers, Larry Hardy (Marsha) of Marion and Michael Hardy (Sandra) of Marion; her grandchildren, Ronnie Small (Julie) of Mullins, Wendy Bueno of Mullins, Jeffrey Johnson (Nikki) of Florence, Kristin Johnson of Dillon, Zack Johnson of Nichols and Tiffany Bass of Marion; and her great grandchildren, Ryan Small, Koby Small and Cree Anderson. She is also survived by 5 Step Grandchildren.
It is respectfully requested that all in attendance wear masks and practice social distancing while in attendance at this special service of remembrance of Rachel's wonderful inspiring life.
