He was predeceased by: his daughter Sharon; and his siblings, George, Shep, Paul, Harold, Wade Hampton, Billy Frank, Flora Ruth, Sara and Dorothy.

He is survived by: his wife Betty of Mullins; his daughters, Sandra M. Hunter (Eric) of Winston-Salem, NC, Teresa F. McKenzie of Mullins, Sheila M. McKenzie of Lake View and Paula-Keith Page (Russell) of Mullins; and his grandchildren, Ashley Carroll Watson (Chris), Jami Leigh Carroll Myers (Murray), Justin-Keith McKenzie (Erin), Brittany Faye Brown, Samantha McKenzie, MacKenzie "Bop" Page, Tyler Page and Sallie-Keith Sharon Page. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
