She was predeceased by: her parent Herey Strickland; her siblings, William Strickland, Jack Strickland and Azalea Carmichael; and her granddaughter Laure Taylor.
She is survived by: her parent Christine Harrelson Strickland; her husband George Magera of Mullins; her daughters, Nancy Sechtin (Alan) of Florence and Christine Taylor of Surfside Beach; her sister Ouida Sarvis (Wayne) of Florence; her grandchildren, Joseph P. Taylor, George B. Taylor, Sean M. Taylor, Daniel R. Sechtin, Bridget M. Taylor and Carole J. Steele (Shane); and her great grandchildren, Jackson Steele and Griffin Steele. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
