She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin C. Barringer and Ileita Caldwell Barringer; and her husband Ted Williams. She is survived by: her children, Ray Williams (Sallie) and Laura W. Tanner; her brother Martin C. "Buddy" Barringer (Mary Jane); her grandsons, Cade Columbus Tanner and Cully Ray Tanner; her nieces, Kelley Barringer-Krablin and Kimberly B. Fields (Larry); and her great-nieces, Kaylee Grace Krablin and Josie B. Krablin. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Her contributions to the community were numerous as she was the first female to serve on the Board of Anchor Bank, a former member of the Mullins Rotary Club, and a former member of the Board of the Mullins Chamber of Commerce.
