He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Tart; his son Josiah Sanders (Rosa); his sister Dr. Lauretha Hodge; his sister-in-law Margaret E. Tart; his niece Dr. Cheryl Warren; and his nephews, Ronnie Smith (Wyteria), Adraine Page (Ann) and Truman Curtis Tart II. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
