He is survived by: his wife Maggie Phillips; his daughter Dr. Takeshia Niday of San Diego, CA; his grandchildren, Sydney, Brooks Niday of San Diego, CA, Mahalei Phillips of Mullins, SC and Micah Phillips of Mullins, SC.; his siblings, Dr. Freddie Bell Cooper (Ulysses), Leon Phillips (Cleo), Maceo Phillips (Linda) and Leo Phillips (Sandra) of Mullins, SC; and his siblings-in-law, Rev. Edna Bethea (Herbert) of Latta, SC, Lois Ford of Dillon, SC, Dr. Arlene Wallace (Roosevelt) of Darlington, SC, Tina Phillips of Jamaica, NY and Robert Johnson (Barbara) of Florence, SC.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
