It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margarett Buffkin of Mullins, South Carolina, born in Fairfax, Virginia, who passed away on May 21, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sherman Goodrich and Carrie F. Warren Goodrich; her husband A. B. Buffkin; her son Bill Henry Buffkin; her siblings, Jamie, Teddy Goodrich, Sarah Vaughn, Fannie Goodrich and Peggy Newcomb; and her grandson Bill Buffkin.
She is survived by: her son Robbie Bishop Buffkin (Polly) of Mullins; her siblings, Bob Goodrich (Barbara) of Virginia, Lillian Russell Newcomb of Virginia, Daisy Mae White of Virginia and Clarice Cannady (B. J.) of Virginia; her grandchildren, John, Ben (Ellen), Katie, Blake and Clay Buffkin (Jae); and her niece Teresa Newcomb. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
