She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Norman Thomas, Sr. and Florrie Woodberry Thomas; her husband David Shelley, Sr.; her son David Shelley, Jr.; and her siblings, Vera Thomas Taylor, Clyde Norman Thomas, Jr. and Preston Thomas.

She is survived by: her daughter Sybil Shelley; her grandson Brian Shelley; and her sister-in-law Jewell Thomas of Rains. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
