He was predeceased by: his parents, Rheddin Smith and Daisy Martin Smith; his wife Ruth Rogers; his daughter Betty Sattane; and his siblings, Eugene, Billy Smith and Bobbie Ricks.
He is survived by: his daughter Tricia Hunsucker (Larry) of Marion; and his siblings, Richard Smith (Jean) of Murrells Inlet, Donald Smith (Cathy) of Murrells Inlet and Betty Johnson of Georgetown. He is also survived by two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
