Smith; his daughter Julia Miles; his daughter-in-law Sadiq Smith; his sisters, Gaynell Brown, Joyce Boyd (Reese) and Doris Smith; his grandchildren, Jazzmine Smith, Jihad Smith, Madinah Jenkins, Damiene Rogers, Rasheda Rogers and Quashema Rogers; and his siblings-in-law, Thomasine Floyd, Marginell Lawrence, Tommie Jean Johnson, Gloria Page, Don Page (Ophelia), Allen Page (Marvene) and Willie Page. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
