He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerodie Spencer and Charlotte Edwards (Eaddy); his daughter Edwina Eugenia Edwards; and his brother Leroy Thomas Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Viola Edwards (Davis); his son Gerard Spencer Edwards (Zenobia); his grandson Collin Spencer Edwards; his cousin Monica Eaddy; his uncle Rev Paul Brown (Cora); and his sisters-in-law, Ruthena Edwards, Annie Mae Monroe and Rosa Sample. He is also survived by in-laws, relatives, friends.
