She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Brown Jr. and Hattie G. Brown Williams; her stepfather Roosevelt Williams; and her siblings, Jessie Mae Brown and James E. Tisdale.
She is survived by: her child Ynigues Brown; her siblings, Peggy Miles of Marion and LeeVern Brown of Jacksonville, Florida; her stepsister Debra Ann Conner of Albuquerque; her grandchildren, Zhenique "Cocoa" Brown, Dionte "Taye" Foxworth-Brown, Callique Brown and Chayce Brown; her sister-in-law Janice Tisdale; and her great-nephews, Jameen Brown, Tyrone Whitaker Jr. and Quinn Stevenson Jr..
