He is survived by: his daughter Opal Powers (Hank) of Mullins; his wife Carolyn Powers of Mullins; his granddaughters, Selena "George" Fairfax (Chris) of Cero Gordo, NC and Katie Miller of Charlotte; his great grandchildren, Chariti, Westlynn, Ana and Ryker; and his sisters, Virgie King of Texas and Jeanette Welch of Latta.
