She was predeceased by: her parents, Meakie Platt and Murlean Swinton Platt; and her siblings, Louise Campbell and Seymore. She is also survived by her 20 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
