It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel McKenzie (Mullins, South Carolina), born in Marion, South Carolina, who passed away on January 19, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas Edwards and Minnie Richardson Edwards; her husband Dayton McKenzie; and her siblings, Stacey, Lide, Earl, Bill, Bobby, Buddy Edwards, Juanita Norris, Jane Causey, Letha Crawford, Maggie Cook and Barbara Ann.
She is survived by: her sons, Mitchell McKenzie (Kim) of Little River and Richard McKenzie (Cynthia) of Mullins; her sister Helen Barfield of Marion; her grandchildren, Paul McKenzie of Little River and Chandler McKenzie of Mullins; her stepgrandchildren, Preston Thomas (Brittany) of Lexington, SC, Cory Thomas of Gaston, SC and Jamie Usher of Latta; and her pet Casper. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
