She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Bethea. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Thompson of Nichols, Faye Floyd of Sacramento, Sherry Brantley (Tony) of Mullins, Cynthia Gilliard (Jacob) of Lake View, Catherine Buie of Dillon, Nicole Buie of Lexington and Charles Buie; her siblings, Richard "Ham" Bethea, James Bethea (Margie), Edward Bethea (Lynn), Frankie Bethea and Linda Bethea; her grandchildren, Christopher, Latoria, Anthony, Brandon, Danielle, Christian, Kimberly, Jazmine and Andrew; her great grandchildren, Maye, Christopher, Cameron, Cassidy and Kamari; her sister-in-law Corrine Buie; her sister Mable Lee; and her close friends, Reba Lewis, Ann Huggins, Lenora Jordan, Dottie Bullock, Mary Cook, Janie Lyles, Edna Earl Ellis and John Reed. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
