George Collins Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Collins of Mullins, South Carolina, who passed away on October 21, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Collins and Maggie McRae Collins; and his siblings, James Duncan Collins, Cassie Smith, Florence Williamson and Flora Harriel.

He is survived by: his spouse Burnell Stroud; his children, Penny Smithey, Tammy Thompkins, Candy Brown, Jimmy Dean Smithey of Mullins, SC., Joel Thompkins of Mullins, SC. and Jeffery Brown of Mullins, SC.; his grandchildren, Tiffany, Christopher, Amber, Cody, Lauren and Colin; his close friends, Steve and Joy Edwards; and his brother Stacy Hayes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
