She was predeceased by: her parent Lucius Hall; her husband Julian Gandy; her son Jackie Laverne Gandy; her grandson Butch Gandy; her son-in-law Melvin Elvis; and also Caleb Gandy.
She is survived by: her parent Modena Russell Hall; her children, Carolyn Jeanette Elvis of Marion, SC, Wanda Gail Martin, Bobby LeGrande Gandy (Shelby), Charles Richard Gandy (Lynn) and Jullian Carlyle Gandy (Sheryl) of Socastee, SC; and her sisters, Peggy Dixon of Columbia, SC and Pat Ballard of Sumter, SC. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
