He is survived by: his wife Ann Alford Fowler; his children, Teresa F. Smith (Carl) of Florence, Brenda F. Wensil (Kelly) of Charlotte, NC and Rick Fowler (Melissa) of Mullins; his grandchildren, Ashley Smith Campbell (Ross), Haley Smith Bass (T. J.), Bridget Fowler Rush (Curtis) and John William Frederick "Will" Fowler; and his great grandchildren, McKenna Elizabeth Campbell, Samuel Curtis John Rush, Sawyer William Paul Rush and Sophia Melissa Nicole Rush.
