He is survived by: his wife Patricia Brown Whaley of Mullins; his son Dylan Matthew Whaley of Mullins; his sister Teresa Whaley Rogers (Greg) of Senoia, Georgia; his niece Cassie Carroll Frazier (Brad) of Charleston; his great-niece Barbara Louise "Birdie" Frazier; and his great-nephew Silas Allen Frazier.
Mr. Whaley's family request memorials be made in his honor to the Marion Baptist Church, 106 South Main Street, Marion, South Carolina 29571.
